Our executive design assistant is here to set you up for success!

SalesLabX subscribers have a new ally when it comes to strengthening their visual language, and their name is Dex: a little robot who’s going to have a massive impact on the way you market your brand!

Dex is a design expert that you’ll begin seeing alongside your proofs from time to time, and their mission is to make sure that you understand why our design team makes certain decisions and to provide you with top-level advice when it comes to visual marketing best practices.

How Does Dex Work?

Dex is the physical embodiment of our design team and all of their combined knowledge. As such, they will sometimes appear in the top right corner of your most recent design iteration. That’s where they live. They’re comfortable there.

Dex isn’t going to appear on every proof, though. Just the ones where our design team wants to ask clarifying questions, explain design choices, share some of their expertise, or present you with several different design options.

Dex is your lifeline to the design team. They’ll be able to pass along your choices or questions seamlessly to give you unprecedented insight into the design process. Dex is programmed for transparency and understanding!

What Dex Can Do For You.

Dex will explain all you need to know about our creative approach. They’ll provide more context for our design choices and allow you to compare different options. This will boost your ability to make more informed decisions in the name of good strategy!

Dex will also be a fantastic source for free tips about general design principles, UX/UI optimization, and accessibility best practices from the experts. They can be chatty, but it’s all in the name of increased revenue and visual impact!

Finally, Dex has been programmed with one overall mission: To make your brand stronger.

Dex isn’t just hanging around to explain the importance of white space or presenting you with different color options for a social media post. They’re here to increase your understanding of design as a whole, so that moving forward, you’re able to strategize more effectively from a design standpoint.

What you learn from Dex will benefit you well into the future!

And Now, an Exclusive Interview With Our New Friend, Dex!

Q: Hi, Dex! Thank you for joining us. Would you mind if we asked you a few questions?
A: Absolutely! Answering questions is a huge part of my programming!

Q: Perfect! First question: If one of our partners sees you on one of their proofs, can they reply to your comments or questions directly?
A: They sure can! You can ask any questions or provide design feedback via your Account Coordinator or Figjam comments as usual, and I’ll get the memo straight away. Once I do, I’ll interface with the design team to answer those questions and address any concerns you may have.

Q: Are you one of those AI bots I’ve been hearing so much about?
A: I assure you that my intelligence is anything but artificial. No AI in this big ol’ head, just the expert knowledge of all the SLX designers. The comments you’ll see from me are all written by our very human and highly knowledgeable design leaders. I’m the cute and lovable wrapper, and they’re the candy bar with the gooey nougat center!

Q: Why would I talk to you? Why are you introducing a little robot character instead of allowing me to speak directly to the designer working on my project?
A: Great question! It’s because SalesLabX prioritizes a first-person user experience and we have an entire ticketing system in place that we’re not able to bypass. Your pal Dex–that’s me–is here to streamline our communications regarding our design expertise, and to provide friendly reminders and documentation on your proofs in a consistent, easy-to-understand format. Plus, I’m fun!  Look, here’s me in a dinosaur onesie! See? I’m downright precious!

Q: Thank you for being so candid, Dex! Anything else you’d like to tell our readers?
A: Just that I was built to help! There might be times when you aren’t sure about the design approach that our team is using, but I will always do my best to be transparent and provide helpful context that will promote understanding and visual harmony going forward.

SLX built me to make our design process better, and in turn, we’re going to make your designs better as well!

Dex is an exciting new part of our design process, and we can’t wait for you to meet them. They’re just one more huge advantage to being an SLX subscriber, and with their continued guidance, you’ll soon have a strong knowledge of design strategy that you’d normally only get from taking courses.

Dex is ready to get to work. Are you?
