Proofing Tool
We are saying goodbye to GoVisually and upgrading our proofing tool to Figjam! Official launch date: October 4th, 2022
Figjam is a new tool that we will be using to share design proofs from our creative team for your review. Figjam is an online whiteboard that allows for easier collaboration and brainstorming, with the ability to view the entire design concept from start to finish in one place. Here, we will document any iterations or revisions you have, and pass them over to our creative team to adjust until your final approval.
How to use Figjam
- To access your proofs, you will first need to provide your AC with the email address you’d like to use as a main point of contact for proofing. We prefer to only have one login per organization to minimize conflicting comments from different people, so we recommend using an email that can be accessed by more than one point of contact in case someone is out of the office (i.e. marketing@slx.com).
- We will create an account for you using the email address you specify, and starting October 4th, 2022 you will simply need to login to Figma with those credentials to provide feedback on your proofs in Figjam.
- While there are lots of tools available for sharing feedback, we recommend you mainly use the comment feature, as this is the easiest way to provide clear feedback in the area of concern.
- The comment feature allows you to select an entire section or just one spot:
- When there are multiple iterations/revisions requested, there will no longer be a new proof link provided whenever updates are made. Instead, our team will include updated proofs side by side on the same board and indicate the proof (version) number above each iteration, so you can easily identify which proof is the most recent.
If you’d like to generate a PDF proof from a Figjam Link, please follow these steps:
- Click on Main Menu
- Hover over the file and click on export as
- Select the file you would like to export (ie PDF)
- Click export
